Description

Happy Easter Sunday! Hope everyone is doing well. I’m still trying to get past a nasty respiratory illness. It has been a tough past week but I’m getting better slowly. A little music is sure to help.

Today I have a little jam going on between my pair of Mother 32 synths. One of the things that fascinates me about modular synthesis is how you can create music with relatively simple components. This patch may look complex at first glance. However, everything is really just driven by a simple square wave LFO and a quantizer, with a bit of modulation to keep things interesting.

Patch Notes

Voices: 2x Mother 32

* B.F. LFO provides stepped wave pattern into A-156 quantizer

* Quantizer is multed to VCO in on both Mothers

* Clock is generated by a square wave LFO

* One Mother 32 runs at 1/4 speed of the other

* Modulation of cutoff frequency, resonance, and VCO with Chaos and LFOs
