The Sagittarius New Moon on December 19th 2025 at 6:43pm MST occurring at 28 degrees of Sagittarius feel free to do the above guided meditation and energy healing at any point from now and through the day of the new moon as well as at any point during the moon cycle leading up to the next Full Moon in Cancer on January 3rd.
An ‘orb’ in Astrology is the amount of space between planets that are aspecting each other. Different factors effect how many degrees ‘count’ as an ‘orb’ that’s within fair range to be considered an aspect. This particular New Moon I am calling “orb-less” because of the unique makeup of the planets and the factors I see at play. For instance-so many of the planets and points are in Mutable signs and the energy of Mutable signs has an ‘orb-less’ feeling to them like they can’t be caged in. The mutability of this New Moon is so strong and would be excessive if it weren’t for the planets in earth signs acting as guardian angels to the whole operation. Let’s get to the specifics:
We have the Sun and the Moon naturally at the same exact degree point of 28 degrees of Sagittarius creating an exact conjunction like any New Moon would. Then we have Venus~our feminine planet of attraction and beauty at 24 degrees of Sagittarius which is only a 4 degree orb conjunction between that Venus and the Sun & Moon. Then we have Mars~our masculine go-getter planet of action at 3 degrees of Capricorn which is a 5 degree orb between it and the Sun and the Moon. So on both sides of the Sun & the Moon aka ‘The New Moon’ we have the Yin and Yang of the zodiac Venus and Mars: symbolizing that we are at a point of knowing strongly what we desire and we must get grounded in our approach to manifest it.
What we have is a Sagittarius Stellium including our dear messenger planet, Mercury at 10 degrees of Sagittarius who is squaring the Nodes of Fate while the other 3 planets in Sagittarius are squaring our illusion dissolving planet of Neptune in Pisces, and our structure insisting planet of Saturn in Pisces. This is a mutable T-square which means the only sign absent from the mutable signs involved is Gemini. Gemini energy is what would bring balance to the situation and so it’s our job to insert it. Sagittarius is excited about what it wants, Pisces is painting illusions about all the ways it could be real, the Virgo South Node is giving it the side eye of judgement, and so we must insert the Gemini energy by asking more questions and doing more research- perhaps having more conversations with people from a state of curiosity. More information is needed to proceed forward with the endeavor.
I am naming Mars in Capricorn the guardian angel of this New Moon since he happens to be in the room overhearing the Sagittarius party planning for the manifestation that has not yet come to be and it’s Mars in Capricorn who saves the day this New Moon. Mars in Capricorn overhears the party planning and interrupts asking for a copy of the step-by-step plan for manifestation. When all that is present is the party planning for after the manifestation happens everyone in the room knows it’s time to get to work.
This New Moon: You need more information, more step-by-step planning, and the promise that there will be a party at the end if you tackle the first two tasks. This is a gifted new moon because it has actual balance and where there is not balance we are being called to create it and that’s the whole point of why following along with Astrological forecasts can better your life experience.
There are other planets having conversations this New Moon as well. We have Jupiter our planet of expansion and blessings squaring Chiron the point of the Soul Wound. This square although it’s a point of tension it is a promising one in terms of us reaching a higher perspective in our own personal spiritual healing journeys. We might for the first time see ourselves in contrast to our families of origin and see the higher purpose or some sort of silver lining on our past. This is especially likely because we also have our planet of self value-Venus in a trine or harmonious aspect with that Chiron applying healing salve to our sacred soul wounds.
Our planet of divine insight- Uranus in the grounded sign of Taurus is in a sextile or opportunity aspect with Neptune in the ungrounded sign of Pisces. There is a solid piece of advice available for us with this aspect. Something to write down and repeat when we feel ourselves getting carried away by excitement and no plan. That advice goes as follows: Use your new found excitement and enthusiasm for your future as fuel to create a plan that stabilizes you and promises success because you are willing to put in the work.
Neptune just went direct and only has until January 26th 2026 to finalize the endings it’s been facilitating in Pisces before starting completely fresh in the sign of fresh starts: Aries. If you want to feel ultra supported when Neptune goes into Aries you must do your due diligence at this time and pay attention to what personal patterns that have been coming up for the last 15 years are asking for your participation to make the shift and set yourself free.
