We’re excited and delighted to share some news: Sunday SubDays will from here on be known as AuthorUp.
“Sunday SubDays” has been a truly marvelous experience, as I continue learning more career insights from writers each week.
The name, however, is a remnant from an earlier form of the idea. We believe the name “Author Up” will serve our guests, current listeners, and new audience members as a more accurate description of the show’s focus.
This is not a change in name only, but a renewed mission statement, as we’re setting our sights higher and wider each episode.
For now, much of the format of the show will remain familiar. The show will remain free, and we’ll still alternate weekly between Featured Guests and Featured Voices.
But our eyes are lifted skyward as we aim to enrichen the experience all around, for our guests and listeners.
We wouldn’t be here without you, so: Thank You.
It’s been a dream of mine for years (5+) to find a meaningful way of producing a podcast platform that can help elevate writing. There are more irons in the fire, and better is always nice, but I feel tremendously blessed for all the fun I’ve had already. And I feel immensely grateful and honored for each one of our listeners, especially those who have shared such kind and generous encouragement and feedback.
