Together they chart her path from being a little girl questioning religion in California, to writing for The Daily Show in New York and later embracing her inner genre by moving back to the west coast to write on shows like This Fool on Hulu, Our Flag Means Death on MAX, and One Day At A Time on Netflix as well as directing and writing her own films.
