In this episode, Dave interviews Larry Osborne, an author, and pastor who has worked with thousands of leaders in both the profit and non-profit sectors.
Larry shares about his family and upbringing including a life-saving thing his parents did for him (~7:00). He talks about North Coast Church being a kind of youth group for adults (~13:00) and how he can’t believe he gets paid for what he used to do for free. Larry and Dave recall years past when Dave used to introduce Larry as “the megachurch pastor with the crappiest facilities in America”, only to be reminded it’s not about the building but the ministry (~20:00). Dave wonders what Larry has seen both positive and negative during the COVID-19 pandemic and Larry uses the example of a few major retailers to illustrate the opportunities he sees for the church going forward ( ~22:00).
