Hello and welcome to Entangled! The podcast where we explore the science of consciousness, the true nature of reality, and what it means to be a spiritual being having a human experience. I’m your host Jordan Youkilis, and today I’m joined by my friend Kate Kettelkamp. Kate is the Founder of Kronos Astrology and is currently enrolled as a Doctoral candidate in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at the California Institute of Integral Studies. In this conversation, Kate discusses her interest in imagination and the concept of lost or negative imagination. We consider the Hermetic principle of “As above, so below”. Kate then discusses astrology as a timekeeping technique.
From there, we discuss the planet Saturn, a planetary body which carries charge for many individuals. We next discuss the process of enlightenment before diving into a discussion of natal charts. Next, we examine Kate’s natal chart, with a focus on her 3rd and 9th houses as well as her sun, moon, and rising signs. We then consider psychedelics and discuss the integration of psychedelic experiences through modalities such as astrology and meditation.
Then, we discuss experiences of epiphany while in altered states of consciousness and concepts including ‘maya’, the ‘dark night of the soul’, and ‘descent into the underworld’. From there, we review my natal chart, touching on the constellation of Capricorn and the planet Mercury or Hermes. We next consider whether the moon could be artificial, the idea of predictive programming, and the impact of apocalyptic literature. From there, we discuss extraterrestrials and our ongoing astrological shift from Pisces into Aquarius. Kate then provides a brief history of astrological philosophy and highlights that “millionaires don’t work with astrologers, but billionaires do”. Kate next highlights major upcoming astrological transitions and the hope that in the Age of Aquarius, Saturn will relive humanity with an unveiling of reality. We end the conversation with an optimistic vision for the future.
