Man, I feel like I sat through church earlier this afternoon.
I mean that in a good way. Though I’m not religious, I liken sitting through church or going to the gym to hearing a good fucking political rant: You didn’t know you needed to experience it. Maybe you didn’t want to attend initially.
But at the end of it, you feel so much better.
For me, sort of like cooking dinner. Once the work is done, I realize how much better I feel. I’ll be doing that very thing tonight for the first time since gout had me on the bench and not in the kitchen for a week. Dad’s spaghetti, comin’ up.
I love listening to people like Michael Cohen, Joe Walsh, JoJoFromJerz, and Walter Rhein talk politics. I relish them going off on Trump, roasting Mango Mussolini, and encouraging us to fight like hell to save our nation. I feel solidarity with them. That’s to be expected when you’re a fiery, no-fucks-given Mouthy Renegade writer like myself.
