S2E94: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings
I’m so irritated right now, Y’all…
I’ve been looking forward to attending the Bernie Sanders rally here in Idaho for weeks. Since hearing about it, I knew I wanted to attend and see him speak. This was even before they announced that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would be here with him.
So, of course, I woke up with a migraine.
I hoped I could shake it off after writing my article. It was difficult to see the screen properly. I don’t get massive headaches like many people do, but it’s difficult to look at screens or even be in rooms with a lot of lighting. Driving isn’t safe.
I’m trying to decide if I want to ask Mai to drive us there and power through it. It’s not in the city we live in, so this isn’t just a drive across town. I think it’s going to be a game-time decision, whether I participate or not.
I’m trying not to be angry with myself. I rarely get these migraines. But I also want to be right for the Saturday rally at our Capitol. Decisions, decisions.
Thank you for giving this one a listen. I recorded it about an hour ago, and this has gotten significantly worse since then. But thank you for listening and lending me your ears. I’m gonna go lie down in the dark for a bit and see how this plays out. I appreciate your support, as always.
