I seriously don’t know how some people do it in this country. Especially when our government doesn’t seem to give a shit about the poor.
I was driving to the gym this afternoon. I had to borrow my daughter’s car since mine was in the shop. I was also hungry. I had to hurry and get there and back before lunch, so she could do her online class and pass Mooch back to me.
I started wondering how people get by when they’re hungry and don’t have enough to eat. And how they get to and from a job with no vehicle.
I talk about this in today’s podcast episode. While those two minor inconveniences were just temporary setbacks for me, that’s the reality of daily life for so many Americans. It makes me sad. And furious toward Trump’s fucked-up criminal regime that steals from the poor to pad the pockets of the wealthy elite.
