S2E61: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings

Good afternoon to my wonderful listeners, it’s a beautiful sunny day here in Idaho, and I had plans to take advantage of it. But then I almost talked myself out of it. I was in a mood, as tends to happen after I write an angry, fiery article about the latest fuckery that Trump has committed.

And it’s daily. At least it feels that way. I get so damn sick of it.

I just about bailed out on my plans of going out to do a little wildlife photography. I was in a poor mood, I told myself that my lower back was too sore to go, and I damn near bitched out. But then I checked myself.

To hell with minor lower back pain. To hell with feeling that I’m too busy writing about politics to get out in nature. And to hell with Donald Trump and all the space he occupies in our heads, constantly.

I’m glad I ended up going. I took some cool photos. And not staring at screens for 90 minutes and being angry at the MAGA movement helped my mental health. I hope you guys take a break from this political bullshit once in a while and do the things you enjoy.

I’m going to do more of that. I need it. Thank you for lending me your ears today. You are valued and appreciated, always!
