Hey Y’all. I’m tired. Mentally, not physically. This constant daily Trump bullshit really takes its toll on my mental health frequently.
I’m sure you all can relate. Especially if you’re part of a marginalized group of people.
I get it. I feel for you. I doubt you’re feeling very patriotic right now, either. It’s difficult to feel proud of being an American when Foolius Caesar and the Billionaire Boys Club makes us feel like we’re traitors if we don’t support their lawless, criminal bullshit. The gaslighting of epic proportions doesn’t make me feel all that welcome in the United States.
I’ve already wanted to travel and possibly live abroad, even before the past decade of Trumpfuckery. In today’s episode, I talk about my feelings that are non-patriotic as of late. And the reasons keeping me here in the United States versus giving my writing and podcasting a go in another country.
I don’t know how it will all play out. Choices have to be made. But I do know that I appreciate you lending me your ears and being supportive of my work. The Mouthy Militia is growing, and so is this movement. We’ll defeat Trump together.
