It’s been a rough couple of days, Y’all. Mooch has been sick, and we found a lump on her.
The sickness may just be from changes in her diet. We switched her kibble to a senior formula a week ago. And we’ve integrated Farmer’s Dog wet food into her diet. I even bought some beef treats that are supposed to help with her joints.
Then she got sick after several days of these changes. She’s better now, thankfully. But my Bride found a lump on her side, above her ribs.
To say that we’re worried about her is an understatement. I’ve already scheduled a vet appointment for Monday, the soonest they had. She’s been with me every step of my four-year Writer’s Journey. I couldn’t ask for a better sidekick and office mate than my Mooch.
I talk about this in today’s episode. I’m not thinking about Traitor Trump like I usually am. To hell with him and his stupid daily bullshit. I’m worried about my dog. And this episode is for her.
You’re going to be fine, Mooch. Daddy’s got this. Just rest, and we’ll get answers on Monday.
