It’s been quiet in my home lately. Around my neighborhood, as well.
I noticed this today while walking Mooch around the block. We’ve had two of the three older adults in our family of six pet sitting at someone else’s homes. It’s been quieter than usual. Unusually quiet.
Though I do enjoy a quiet, peaceful setting, more so as I age, not when it relates to politics. The sound of political silence worries me. Especially when we have so much to lose here in America. Our freedom and democracy are hanging by a thread.
And Donald Douchenozzle is standing next to it, scissors in hand.
In today’s podcast episode, I talk about the apathy and complacency that too many Americans are demonstrating in the face of fascism. This is not the time to bow down to wannabe dictators or kings. It’s the time to be bold, strong, united, and Mouthy. We must do more to end this bullshit before it’s too late.
