Well, Helloooooooo!
Hope you are all having a badass Saturday afternoon. I know I am. I have a topic for y’all today based on an expression that my father used to say:
“People have an overrated opinion of their own importance.”
Even as a grade school kid back in the 80s, I knew what he meant by that. We think that everything we say or do is SO important. That people SO care about what we think about every little thing. This is never more evident than in the comments section of any article we write or meme that we post.
People just have to contradict and explain why you’re wrong. Even on opinion pieces that I write. I’ve had some even try to debate funny status updates and joke memes before. Like, read the room, Bro. Nobody cares about what you think about every little thing.
