Every so often in a surgeon’s career, someone comes along who reminds you why you teach.
For me, that person is Amy Haddad, RNP.
I have trained hundreds of surgeons, physicians, and advanced practitioners from around the world. Very few leave an imprint the way Amy has. Her humility, curiosity, discipline, and natural artistry stood out from the moment she stepped into my training rooms in Laguna Beach back in 2016.
She had traveled from Texas to attend my master-level courses at the Alinsod Institute, and she was the only Nurse Practitioner in a room full of established doctors traveling in from Dubai, India, Philippines, Boston, and Dallas.She never once flinched.She asked the right questions.She practiced with intent and precision.She wanted to understand why, not just how.
