High in the desolate Colorado mountains, where the wind howls like a warning and the snow erases all traces of the outside world, a marriage quietly rots behind the walls of a shuttered inn.
Margot Weatherby is beautiful, clever… and desperate.
Once an actress with dreams of a brighter stage, she now finds herself trapped—married to a wealthy but suspicious husband whose illness has left them isolated in a lonely lodge ten thousand feet above sea level. When Phil begins to suspect that Margot may be plotting his death, he secretly summons a detective—Rocky Rhodes—to uncover the truth.
But Margot is one step ahead.
In a moment of cold calculation, she murders her husband, convinced she can stage it as a natural death. There’s just one problem: the evidence Phil left behind… and the detective who could arrive at any moment. This audio file was recorded, mixed and mastered by Michael Troop.
Then the storm rolls in.
Strangers begin appearing at the inn—each one a possible threat, each one a possible detective. With no way in or out, suspicion coils tighter and tighter as Margot races to find the hidden evidence before it finds her.
But in a world where identities blur and motives are never what they seem… the hunter may already be the hunted.
Because in this game of deception, someone always gets caught.
