Excerpt of the Podcast:
John Kremer:
“And you say that knowing that I am my two self ends suffering and promises a new life. And that's what you were just talking about, is that when we get beyond that duality and beyond the illusion of thinking and thoughts and being what the thinking thinks we are, we get to the promise of a new life, which is actually living life as our true Self.”
Louis Koster:
“Yes, absolutely, yeah. That is a new life. That is a life full possibility, full of exploration and inquiry into what it is to be that, to be yourself, and that's everything.”
“That is what it is to be alive, is to have that expansion of awareness, this exploration of what it is to be you. And well, that is a new life, as in that is, that's not usually how we live our life. So in that sense, it is a new life. It's still the same life, but it is different, there is an awareness of how you live your life and insight in what you truly are.”
John Kremer:
“And that promise of a new life is not the promise of a future that our thought creates. It's simply that promise of a new life is just simply being independent of all that duality, and that's the process of a new life. It's not the future that the thinking creates. It's a new life that being creates.”
Louis Koster:
“Yep. It's very interesting, this notion of future, which actually in the domain of being so to speak, is actually potential. So a new life would be to live your life to your full potential, so that points to the future, so to speak. But it is like an unfolding, like a discovery, like an adventure.”
John Kremer:
“I like all three of those words unfolding, an adventure, and I forget what the third one was now.”
Louis Koster:
“Yeah, good. That's amazing. So thank you for bringing that to the conversation. It's really very inspiring.”
John Kremer:
“Again, it's all your words. I may give it a little bit different angle, I don't know. But I'm merely responding to your Talking Diaries, to the thought process of what you're doing, what you're thinking about, and how you're approaching seeing things and asking questions and all of that. And you're challenging all of us to do the same thing, because you're saying, "It's not something unique to me. It's something anyone can do simply by allowing for the fatality of what arises and asking questions."
Louis Koster:
“Yes.”
John Kremer:
“Anyway, I've really been enjoying going along with you on this adventure.”
