For decades we’ve been hearing about “the wall of separation” that should divide the church and state. Individuals and entities who despise our Judeo-Christian roots work hard to convince us that religion should not influence politics in any way, shape, or form. But, unfortunately for them, there is no historic or legal basis for this interpretation of the First Amendment.
