The Church in Antioch was an example of a healthy church. Those who spread the gospel message in Antioch included the gentiles and many of them believed. Barnabas sought out Paul to aid him in the work there. The Christians there grew in maturity and when a need arose in Judea they send relief by way of Paul and Barnabas.
