Join us as we speak with Tavon Mason about his Foundation’s work with homeless youth as well as his time coaching high school football and becoming a published author. Tavon Mason is a former NFL Wide Receiver for the NY Jets. He had a full athletic scholarship to attend The University of Virginia. In 2011, after retiring from two seasons in the NFL he began coaching high school football at Woodlawn High School and started his own foundation the Tavon Mason Loves the Kids Foundation (www.tavonmasonlovesthekids.org), where he focuses on youth issues including collaborating with other organizations to help homeless children and children who live in transitional housing.
