After working the front lines of healthcare, Dr. Brett Belchetz witnessed firsthand how difficult the healthcare experience was for some people. Although he would treat 40, 50, even 60 patients a day, Brett still felt limited to who he could help. At the same time, he noticed how technology was making a difference for his family who often phone called, FaceTimed or IMed him questions about their health, and how quickly and easily he could assist them. He realized that technology, even at its most basic application, can help so much when it comes to providing healthcare.
This is when @getmaple was born. Today, 4 million Canadians have access to the Maple virtual care platform, and Dr. Brett Blechetz is always striving to increase the amount of people they can help.
