In 2019, Amanda’s life changed forever. She started noticing that she was losing weight and that her face seemed swollen… After countless doctors and a determined spirit, a diagnosis emerged. Last year, shortly after her June birthday,
Amanda - a healthy entertainment reporter in her 30s - was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Immediately she started aggressive chemotherapy and her days went from interviewing a-list celebrities and travelling the world to making many trips to the hospital but one thing remained the same; Amanda’s positive energy and love of puns continued to shine brightly. When we chatted for the HIH podcast, we celebrated as she proudly shared that she is in remission!
