Girl Power Alliance Guest: Lisa Michelle
Lisa Michelle is the social entrepreneur behind the beauty brand Lily & Co. that provides funding to safe homes globally through products handcrafted by survivors. She is also the CEO of Untethered Ministries, a non-profit that exists to guide women and children into healing from being sexually abused, exploited or trafficked through intervention, prevention, and outreach. N.S.A.Girls, a program within UM also offers aftercare to women and children on a consistent basis.
Her work includes legislation, advocacy, education on trafficking-related subjects to law enforcement and the community, and leadership in various advisory boards and coalitions.
She is a survivor of commercial child sexual exploitation herself and tells her story to the nations to help women and children experience emotional healing.
