For so long I lived life assuming that my past was a negative experience I wanted to put far behind me. The truth was that my experience and all I had been through would actually lead me to discover my purpose in life. Whether I knew it or not I had developed the skills of persistence, resourcefulness, and resilience throughout my addiction. I just had to learn how to use those skills for good instead of bad. It was my sobriety that became my superpower.
