Shannon Wilburn, Certified Franchise Executive

Serial entrepreneur and business owner who loves helping others succeed in their goals through mentorship and accountability coaching. Experienced Franchisor, Brand Ambassador, and former Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the franchising industry. 

She has been featured on various national programs, including CNN, The Today Show, The CBS Early Show, Fox News, Entrepreneur, and Good Morning America.

Recipient of the International Franchise Association’s Bonnie LeVine award. This award recognizes one woman each year who is a role model for all, especially women, by their business and professional accomplishments within franchising and contributions to our society. Bonnie LeVine award winners lead by example, demonstrate purpose, and focus on advancing women in franchising.

Currently working as owner/founder of Shine Executive Coaching, supporting Founders + Entrepreneurs with a roadmap & strategy to 7+ figures, helping them go from a founder-dependent business into a fully systemized & scalable business that can grow & run without them.

I continued work as co-founder and brand ambassador with Just Between Friends—the nation’s leading children’s and maternity consignment event, with over 150 locations in 33 states. What began as a living room peer-to-peer sale is now a leading franchise system with 2023 system-wide sales of $50 Million.

Shannon also owns and operates Coal Creek Farm Jenks, a 15-acre property in Jenks, OK. The land is a go-to spot for local photographers looking for a scenic outdoor location for their shoots. Shannon's commitment to the community shines through through this venture as she offers this space, fostering local talent and helping families.

Shannon serves on the Membership Committee for the International Franchise Association and is a regular podcast guest and speaker for conferences and events. Shannon is honored to serve as a board member for The Pearl House, an organization dedicated to protecting, educating, and disciplining at-risk young women in underserved communities worldwide.

However, Shannon believes her most significant achievements lie within the four walls of her home. Married to her best friend, Mitch Wilburn, for 33 years, she is a proud mother to two married children and doting grandmother to three grandchildren. Shannon’s family serves as both her anchor and inspiration, propelling her to set an example of faith-driven leadership for future generations.
