Have you ever stepped out on stage for a performance or to the boardroom and had to deliver a big presentation for the work crew? Hands get all sweaty, heart-racing, shortened breaths? Yeah, sounds about right. Here's a radical thought for some - excitement syptoms are the same!
Whoa!!! Check out a clip from a conversation I had with Licensed Psychologist and Music Performance Coach, Dr. Sierra Baird. (https://www.sierrabaird.com/)
We got into the ins and outs of how to reframe the meaning of the feelings we get and lay down strategies to use the energy created to our advantage. Super interesting conversation that may help you on that next big moment on stage or in front of the board members!
Dig it? Shoot me a note on what guests or topics you'd like to hear next month. If you want to be a guest on the show, please shoot me an email at hey@miketheschwartz.com and tell me a bit about what you'd like to discuss. Ready for the dirty 'stache? I'm doing kettlebell swings every day in November to raise awareness in the music industry about men's mental wellness and suicide prevention.
