We are bombarded with toxins from many different sources all of the time in every day life.
In this episode, we're talking all about how toxins can get in the way of your ability to live your healthiest life.
Especially after about the age of 40, many people struggle with symptoms like weight gain, and this can actually be your bodies way of trying to protect you! Toxins are stored in our fat cells!
Your body has a built in detoxification system, but when the toxins become too much, the body can become overwhelmed and needs help! If you're dealing with acne in your 40s or 50s, this could also be a sign for you that your built-in detox system is not working properly! The important question is WHY?
And WHAT can you do to help your system start moving towards better health? While it's not realistic to try to remove all of the toxic burden on the body, it can be really helpful to have more awareness of the different exposures you may have and work to take small steps to reduce them.
