Let the Games Begin. The game I am referring to is called, " How the hell do I create a successful podcast" and is very quickly becoming one of my favorites.
You see this podcast was a somewhat spontaneous decision. After becoming sick and tired of always planning and never doing, I ended up gaining some inspiration that made me say, F$%K it. Just go for it.
This episode is the very first podcast I have ever done. I told myself that, it doesn't matter what people think, if you want to do something then just do it, and learn along the way. It does not matter how bad it starts, because what is important is how it develops. I have created this podcast with two intentions in mind;
The first is to interview people who have been successful in their field, dive into their minds, and try to figure out what separates them from the rest. What were some of the struggles they had to overcome, that many of us are most likely facing at the moment, and what are some of the things they would of liked to have known earlier.
The second is to show the process and development of the show, and share the growth as it comes. I want to show that you REALLY don't have to be perfect when you start, but you do have to be willing to try.
I am hoping to take what I learnt and implement it into the show.
After 10 Episodes I realized that if I wanted the show to expand I needed to take it away from Facebook, and YouTube and move it out to other sources. That is when I developed an intro, learnt how to use some better software, and aimed to improve my skills. The first 10 episodes you hear will consist of a slightly edited beginning, an introduction to the show, and then the raw and un-edited footage of the interview afterwards, so that you can really see the development from episode to episode.
So please enjoy the very Beginning of my Podcasting Journey. If this is the first episode you listen too, I would highly recommend, at least checking out episode 2, as the quality increases drastically with the new mic, and my first guest.
