Picky eating and childhood eating.

This is a loaded topic and I finally sat down to record a podcast for you today all about picky eating, and some of the tips and strategies I have used in my home to improve our family’s eating habits.

Some of the highlights discussed include: Creating consistent meal times; creating a family culture of sitting and eating together; planning ahead for parties; balancing modern conveniences with whole foods.

I hope in this episode you will hear my tone for empathy and understanding, but also, this is a topic I am passionate about and therefore my words may sound a bit harsh at times. I recognize that there are so many layers in eating, food insecurity, and our food culture in the US. But we can still make changes to what we are eating to improve the generational health of our kids.
