Smart phones and social media are a part of our everyday lives, that’s just the society we live in. Your adolescents have grown and learned so much since the early says of screen time, and yet they are still kids and still learning. As your kids grow older, it might feel like all the rules go out the window. They're more independent and often push back, making it challenging to manage their screen time effectively.

In this episode, we discuss the unique aspects of managing electronics with adolescents. Their phones are not just for calls; they encompass their social lives, homework, and more. We explore the importance of setting clear guidelines and expectations, treating their phone as a privilege rather than a right. We'll share tips on creating a phone contract to establish rules and consequences, and emphasize the significance of modeling responsible phone use ourselves. Join us as we navigate this new age of technology with our teens, aiming to foster healthy habits and open communication.
