Welcome to another episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes. This episode continues the series on Offers, focusing specifically on Offer Pricing. If you’re just tuning in and have questions about offers, consider checking out previous episodes where we’ve covered the offer area in Kajabi, starting from the details page and working section by section.
The Offer Pricing section in Kajabi is highly flexible. There are several options available:
Payment plans, or multi-pay options, let you set the payment amount, currency, and number of payments. Unlike a subscription, this is a predetermined sum, and the customer is obligated to pay unless a payment fails due to an issue like an expired or canceled card. You can set the number of payments and choose the interval (weekly, monthly, or yearly). There’s also an optional setup fee (charged at checkout) and an optional trial period, which allows access for a set number of days before commitment.
Subscription payments are similar but focus on frequency rather than a fixed number of payments. You specify the payment amount, currency, and how often payments occur (every X weeks, months, or years). Customers can cancel at any time, but they retain access for the remainder of the current payment period. Optional setup fees and trial periods are also available for subscriptions.
It’s important to note Kajabi has settings that let users cancel their own subscriptions and other subscription management features, which will be covered in more depth in a future episode.
The last payment type is free, which is straightforward and requires no payment setup. You can add coupons to any payment type except free, offering flexibility for discounts and promotions.
In the next episode, we’ll dive into some hidden pricing settings that don’t appear on the main offers page, including those related to subscriptions, free trials, and receipts. Stay tuned for more insights next week.
