Welcome to another episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes! Today, we’re focusing on how to organize sections within your Kajabi pages. While last week’s episode covered content blocks and how to move them around, this time we’ll explore the settings that control the layout and alignment of the sections that hold those blocks. Mastering these settings will help you create clean, visually appealing pages that look great across all devices. Let’s dive in!
In Kajabi, sections are the containers for your content blocks, and they come with powerful layout options. Understanding how to use vertical and horizontal alignment settings can dramatically improve the look and feel of your pages.
Within the desktop layout settings of a section, you’ll find two key dropdown menus: vertical alignment and horizontal alignment.
Two additional settings enhance your section’s visual impact:
When adding background images to a section, you can set the image position to Top, Middle, or Bottom in the background settings. To avoid important parts of your image being cropped on different screen sizes—especially portraits—try cropping your image with extra space above the subject’s head. Then set the background position to Top. This ensures the top of your image stays visible, while any cropping happens at the bottom, keeping your visuals consistent across devices.
By experimenting with these section settings in Kajabi, you can create beautifully aligned, responsive pages that look great on any screen. Thanks for tuning in, and be sure to join us next week for more helpful Kajabi tips!
