Zechariah chapter 11 is a like a three act play where God portrays the stark contrast between man's ways and God's ways, between foolish shepherds and the Good Shepherd. A true shepherd does not own the sheep--he serves them. These prophetic pictures not only portray the course and direction of the world, but also point us to the Good Shepherd, our Lord Jesus Christ.
