Description

Hey, thanks for tuning in the Key Moment Podcast. This is a podcast on profound and deciding moments. These key moments that made your life go in a different and hopefully positive direction. Change is often provoked by big events or in the smallest of details. Whatever happened, it made a deep impact on you, and it made you decide to do things different.

Listen to the story of Mick Finnigan from Ireland. Be a witness of how childhood trauma can haunt you and make you head for destruction. How you soften or kill your emotions by running from them, or by drinking massive amounts of alcohol. And, if you are lucky, often love can prevent you from falling through the cracks of life.

I am not sure, but Mick and I, we must have met somewhere around the year 2002 in Dublin, Ireland. I spoke at an event on Housing First. Mick came to listen, we talked, and I learned he was homeless, barely 18 years old. We stayed connected and little did we know. 23 years later we meet again, in the city of Haarlem, of all places.

Listen to his story. Learn about how a woman can provoke you in making the right choices.

I thank Mick for meeting again and being so open about what happened to him and how he welcomed the Realm of Recovery in his life. I hope you are willing to share this podcast with your family, your friends, your co-workers. Hand us some of your stars on Spotify. It will help us and many other people massively. My name is Rokus Loopik and thanks again for listening. Hope to meet again, soon, at the Key Moment Podcast.
