Retired Dallas Police Lieutenant, Regina Smith served twenty six and a half years on the force. She was an integral part of the capture of Dallas' only known serial killer; Charles Albright, "The Eyeball Killer." (1991) Her beloved husband of 18 years, Senior Corporal Norman Smith, also served on the Dallas Police Department, before he was tragically killed in the line of duty. (2009) Through her life experiences, she has discovered her unique understanding of violent crime, and it's impact on all survivors. Her ultimate goal is to help those who have suffered pain, and loss through violent crime. Other talking points about her are: Her police resume which includes: Walking Beat Officer, Bike Officer, Detective in Internal Affairs, Sergeant in Patrol, Sergeant Crime Scene Response, Patrol Lieutenant, Property Crimes Lieutenant and honorably served as the Administrative Lieutenant to the Chief of Police (David Kunkle) where she exercised Staff Supervision over 3500 Police Officers. Book written about Eyeball Killer where herself and her partner are featured. She is also currently featured on Forensic Files, Discovery ID Channel and many other television documentaries regarding this notable arrest. She continued to work 5 years after husband's death, and simultaneously attended University of North Texas. While at UNT, she obtained honor status on President's List (2012), received recognition for writing (2011) and became the President of the Creative Writer's Society. (2012). She has an awesome, supportive daughter who encourages her spiritual growth, and introduced her to her new church home, Agape International.
