Description

In his homily on the feast of the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica, the seat of the Pope's authority, Archbishop Aquila preached on the abundant life Christ desires for all, especially those enslaved by addictions.

This Mass, celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on November 9, 2023, coincides with the release of Archbishop Aquila's latest Pastoral Letter, "That They Might Have Life," which synthesizes Church teaching, principles of the natural law and recent, relevant scientific studies to empower Catholics to dialogue with society on substance use and abuse.
