Doctor called in with a project out of North Carolina. He signed with a local contractor in April of 2021, there were a few issues with the lease but they’re now ready go move forward with the project. The issue is that now that they’re ready to start the project, the contractor recently reached out to the doctor to have a conversation with him regarding price increases from the manufacturers that has put a bump in the plans. Covid has continued to have a big play in price increases, labor prices have also increased. Construction costs have gone up an average of 45% in the past year, higher in some areas than others depending on the material.
