Description

In this week’s episode of the red card segment, Sasha dives into it with the delivery of furniture for a practice that’s being built.  We work with a practice that’s reaching the end of the project and is almost ready for the furniture.  In most cases, there will be a schedule that outlines the project and the delivery of different phases.  It turns out that the furniture was delivered to the site but was signed by a random person.   The doctors placed the order for the furniture, not the contractor, because they didn’t want to miss out on the furniture, but the delivery wasn’t communicated with the contractors.  In this case, the painter signed for the furniture, and it wasn’t revisited until the very end of the project when a big hole was noticed on the side of the couch.  The sticky situation is that the contractor is being held responsible for one of his crews signing for the delivery of the furniture, have listened to what Sasha recommends to avoid a future sticky situation like this one.
