Pulp legend Will Murray has recently published his 3rd volume on The Shadow. This book deals with the evolution of the character from radio to pulps to comics and beyond. The process by which The Shadow charater was tweaked to fit into the various incarnations in different media give an insight into the creative process. It also shows how aggressive marketing has kept The Shadow as a relevent hero to this very day. The book also is LOADED with artwork from several artists who have drawn The Shadow.
We also spoke about upcoming projects in the making including crossovers between pulp heros. Will has an ambitious schedule and this is good news for pulp fans everywhere! There is even the possibility of a 4th volume on The Shadow.
