On tap this week is a group of Master of Fine Arts candidates from Purdue University, which goes by the name of the Purdue Artist Collective. Their unifying thread is that they work and study with a friend of the ART TAP podcast, Sigrid Zahner. The artists with me are a diverse midwestern selection:
Amanda Kendrick from DeWitt, Michigan, whose focus is oil painting.
Jessica Peterson from Iroquois, Illinois, who is studying ceramics.
Charmaine Renee is from Dayton, Ohio, and they are working in mixed media.
And Tracy Smoll is from Waynetown, Indiana, and she is studying ceramics.
