Welcome to today’s show!
Social Distancing has forced many in-person events on line, including happy hour invites we receive from work, friends, family or for celebrations like birthdays or anniversaries. And the common theme for these events is drinking. In today’s solo episode, I’m sharing 5 ways to create a virtual happy hour sans booze.
WHAT WE’LL LEARN
- Find what made you happy before happy hour
- Make a list of your “happys”
- Adina shares one of her “happys”
- Put yourself first. This should not come as a surprise that Adina wants you to put yourself first! And questions to ask if feeling guilty is the reason you do not put yourself first
- Always have an exit plan (accountability buddies are great for this)
- Setting boundaries. I provide questions to ask in case your boundary setting is in need of recalibration
