Bio: "Dana Washington is an artist, writer and director
working in photography, film, video, and voice narration. She examines blackness and aesthetics, personal history, memory and fiction to explore race, identity and futurity in visual culture.
Washington has received a Bachelor of Arts in English from California State University, Long Beach and is completing a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at the University of California, San Diego.
