Hallam FM last spoke to Rebecca Lowman when MPs voted to close a loophole in the law.
At the moment if a dog attack happens on private property police can't act.
That's what happened to Rebecca whose foot was mauled by a Staffie-Cross.
She's backing the law change but is worried that it hasn't come in yet.
