Community leaders, local dignitaries and school children all came together for a service to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
It was held in All Saint's Square.
As part of it pledges were written on paper leaves and hung on a 'message tree' - each one started with 'I won't stand by' to reflect this year's theme.
