kmfm has given one Kent listener the best start to the bank holiday weekend - with £1,000.
Their competition '£1,000 Friday' ran today which invites listeners to text or enter online to be in with a chance of winning the cash prize.
Following thousands of entries, Phil Gaffin from Chatham was chosen at random and received a call from presenter Rob Wills on kmfm Drivetime.
Phil entered just after midnight this morning while working, building pallets and decided to enter to the competition. He answered the call at just after 6pm tonight while on the way to his nephew's 'stag do' and said with the wedding on Sunday and having children and with half term next week - the prize money is going to be very much needed.
