A South Sudanese has been elected speaker of the East African Youth Parliament. 

Oiylang Alaham Kanuto went through unopposed at the parliamentary seating during the just ended you lead youth summit in Arusha Tanzania.



South Sudan was represented by more than 20 youths at this year’s summit. One of the participants and executive director for Okay Africa Foundation Wani Micheal, called for the formulation of a youth policy in South Sudan to enhance youth participation in development matters. 



He said this on Miraya Breakfast this morning
