The deepening economic crisis in the country is having a serious impact on the citizens in the country

South Sudan like many developing countries, has been hit hard by the financial and economic crisis, with its impact affecting the local population.  

South Sudan is one of the most oil-dependent countries in the world, with oil accounting for almost the totality of exports, and more than 40% of its gross domestic product.

This week's edition of thr roundtable discussion looked at the deepening economic crisis in South Sudan and what needs to be done.
