A governance activist has called on South Sudan to take keen interest in the Ugandan election.  

Centre for Democracy, and integrity executive director Khawaja Kau says the impact of election results in Uganda has a potential of spilling over to neighboring countries either positively or negatively. 

He says Uganda election has opened a lot of eyes among the international community especially on the fundamental principles of democracy in the run up to the election.
