The interim chairperson of the Re-constituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (RJMEC) has urged South Sudanese to keep hope alive as they celebrate the country's tenth independence on 9 July.

Maj. Gen. Charles Gituai said, in order to maintain lasting peace, the country's leaders must implement the peace agreement.    

He spoke to Miraya's Sebit William.
