Doctors at the Juba Teaching Hospital have called off their strike over pay and better working conditions. The doctors who are medical interns had not received their incentives for the last two months. The acting Chairperson of the South Sudan Doctors' Union, Dr. Anthony Garang, says the doctors on internship were also demanding for accommodation, feeding, provision of security and official appointment at the hospital. He said they called of their strike after the Ministry of Health promised to resolve their issues.
